We want you to be confident using GMC Guard. If you have an issue with your purchase or subscription, please read the terms below and contact us so we can help.
1. Eligibility for refunds
We provide refunds in the following situations:
- You were charged in error (for example, duplicate billing or an unintended upgrade).
- A material service outage prevented you from running audits for more than 48 consecutive hours.
- You cancel within 7 days of a renewal and have not meaningfully used the service in that renewal period (for example, no new audits run).
- Permanent suspension support credit (first Pro payment): If your Google Merchant Center account is permanently suspended, you may request $18 back on your first Pro payment. Requests are subject to a support verification process, including a short live screen-sharing session to confirm the account status. One credit per account.
2. Non-refundable cases
We generally do not offer refunds for:
- Change of mind after using the service (for example, audits or advanced runs already consumed).
- Suspensions or enforcement actions by Google unrelated to GMC Guard availability (except the Permanent Suspension Credit described above, when eligible).
- Misuse of the service or violation of our Terms of Service.
3. How to request a refund
Email support@gmcguard.ai with the subject "Refund request" and include:
- Your account email.
- The date and amount of the charge.
- A brief description of the issue (for example, duplicate billing or outage details).
- For Permanent Suspension Credit requests: proof of permanent suspension and availability to join a short live screen-sharing session with support so we can verify the status.
We aim to review requests within 5 business days and will notify you of the outcome by email.
4. Refund method
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Timing may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Cancellations
You can cancel a subscription at any time. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged further renewal fees. To cancel, visit your Billing page or contact support@gmcguard.ai.
6. Service issues and outages
If you experience an outage or service issue, please contact us promptly with details (time, error, and audit ID if relevant). We will investigate and, where appropriate, may extend your access or issue a refund consistent with the eligibility criteria above.
7. Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer laws. If you believe you have statutory rights to a refund beyond what is described here, contact us with details and we will assess your request in line with those laws.
